Longing

I long to get the sewing machine out.

I want to sew curtains, and pillows, and a laptop case, not to mention the *nearly* finished apron that I couldn't get done before we moved and the jean and floral print skirt I have sitting pinned but not sewn together yet in my box.

I want a couple of days of sunny weather to break out paint and paint my ladder back chairs.

I want to find adorable fabric to recover the chair seats with. I don't want the fabric to cost to much and I want it to coordinate with the yellow on the walls.

More importantly I long to have the rest of the house unpacked so that I can delve into these craft projects that are calling my name.

I also long to place photos in my blogs and on facebook once again. I miss sharing my finds, my craftiness, my cooking, my schooling, and my life with my online friends, family and loved ones.

I keep telling myself ... Soon! But tonight it feels like its a long way away and I long to be childish and just say no to the chores that need to be done and YES to the fun that is calling for me.

  1. That's a perfectly normal feeling! Moving is tough, especially across country, and I think wanting to be settled and back to living is what everyone wants. I know it will all fall back into place soon. I can't wait to see pics when you start getting things done! :-)

  2. Thanks Becky,
I want to post pics too but darn this stick just takes forever to upload even one pic that it is just to hard. I should take my laptop and go sit somewhere where there is a free wifi spot and upload a ton of pics. LOL

  4. Thank you for the encouragement Shady Lady. :) It is so hard to be an adult sometimes! Why o why was I in a hurry to get here again?

I also realized that I have not changed my blog and it is still on west coast time, it says I posted the blog at 9:35 at night... It was considerably later then that.
